After the floods… 2023

After spending nearly three months in the US trying to raise support for his ministry in Myanmar, Pastor Paul has returned home. He came home to find his village had suffered two typhoons and an earthquake while he was away. Not to mention the local damn was overwhelmed and broke, sending even more flood waters. His entire village including his family home was overcome by water. His children were infected by the dirty water which left welts on their legs and irritated their eyes. The orphans at Messiah Children’s home had to be move to higher ground for a week until the water receded.

Ignite Myanmar Mission Church members are beginning to rebuild and support the community. Food and public services are scarce after one of the longest and hardest rainy seasons in recent memory. Paul and some of the church leadership are delivering food parcels to church members and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with surrounding villages.

There is so much need. It’s hard for those of us with first world problems to know how, what or where to start. Luckily Pastor Paul is already there doing what God has called him todo. He asks for your prayers and financial partnership.
